Precautions and side effects from hemp oil

The use of cannabis oil and all cannabis products requires caution, as cannabis seeds and inflorescences are classified as a Category 5 narcotic drug permitted for medical use only for patient care and research studies. And using high concentrations of cannabis oil over the prescribed amount can cause harm to the body. A good CBD shop will help you to know about the side effect.

Here are some things you should know before using the cannabis oil for safety:

  • The use of cannabis products to treat and control symptoms is not the first-line treatment in all cases—especially uncertified medical marijuana products.
  • Healthcare professionals must undergo training before dispensing cannabis products to patients. The cannabis product should come from a production facility that meets standards certified by the Ministry of Health.
  • The use of uncertified medical marijuana products may contain contaminants such as pesticides, fungicides, heavy metals, and other harmful substances.
  • Do not use cannabis extract as a substitute for medications such for diabetes, high blood pressure, liver disease, and kidney disease.
  • Patients should inform their doctor if they take other medications, such as antiarrhythmic drugs. Antiarrhythmic Drugs,  Anticonvulsants and Antipsychotics Antipsychotics, as cannabis extracts, can affect existing medications and harm patients.

The use of cannabis oil should be under the supervision of a doctor. And should be started at the lowest dosage. If it still doesn’t work, then gradually increase the amount. Using it without a doctor’s supervision can cause side effects such as mood swings. Changes in appetite, drowsiness, dizziness, abnormal colour vision, nausea, vomiting, decreased memory, low blood pressure, dry mouth, confusion, restlessness, and anxiety.

However, marijuana extract should not be used in people with these diseases and conditions as it can harm health.

  • People with a history of allergy to cannabis extract products which may be caused by other components or substances that are solvents used in the extraction
  • Planners to get pregnant are pregnant, or breastfeeding and women of childbearing age who do not use contraception, as THC in cannabis may pass through the placenta and breast milk to the fetus. And may cause pregnant women to have psychotic symptoms and mood swings and affect the baby’s brain development.
  • People with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, drug-related psychosis, schizophrenia, and people at high risk of self-harm.
  • People with severe cardiovascular disease, liver disease, and kidney disease
  • People taking anticoagulants

CBD shop and other cannabis products are also not recommended for treating children, adolescents, people under 25, the elderly, and people who use opioids and tranquillizers, including those who are addicted to nicotine or heavy alcohol. This is due to the lack of research data confirming its efficacy and safety.

Although Thailand’s law allows the use of cannabis or hemp extracts containing CBD shop and no more than 0.2% THC as drugs or herbal products regulated by law, cannabis oil is still prescribed and under the strict supervision of doctors and pharmacists. With certified production sources and is used only in diseases that are researched for health safety.
